STAY POSITIVE

It’s easy to spot the negatives!  It’s all around us! The loud neighbors, the crazy drivers, annoying friends, not enough money, too fast, too ugly, too much money.. and I can go on and on, but what if, instead of the negatives, we learned to search for positives?

Upon starting our day, out of nowhere, negatives will show up uninvited, and demand our attention. The ball is in your court, throw it however you want, but wouldn’t it be wise, to reject the negatives, instead of  accepting them?

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:5 

Negative emotions tend to bring us down, they tend to mess up our day, conversation, and daily routine. Why should we dwell on the negatives, when one positive outlook, can turn our whole day around?!

YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR EMOTIONS!

Instead of focusing on the negatives, learn to reject them, let them roll down your spine, CAST THEM DOWN!  Focus on the good things instead. Things that are acceptable, perfect, and pure. Things that are going to build you up, not destroy you.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.
Philippians 4:8 
Instead of the crazy neighbors, focus on the fact that you have a home, there are people who would switch with you in a heartbeat. Homeless, less fortunate, would love to have your crazy neightbors.

Crazy drivers are probably ticked off by their emotions, and just don’t know any better! Those same drivers might be going through a hard time in their life, why should you be a person that pushes them to their curb, why don’t you be nice and slow your roll, why don’t you do what Jesus did, and forgive them instead?!

” Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing, is my favorite response! I too mess up, I too come up short, I too get angry, and upset, father forgives me! I too MUST forgive!

We are to exemplify Jesus in our conduct, and our actions, but we forget that so easily right? We are to imitate, our father, and set a good example, not destroy and kill, like the father of all lies. Who are we examplifying?

Those annoying friends are just insecure, and are still imature in their actions. Show a good example, let them know {IN LOVE, with a gentle spirit} that’s it’s not fitting for them, and it’s  embaracing, and there is a better way.

FRIENDS TELL  FRIENDS, RIGHT? 

Too ugly, too much money? Use wisdom and find something that will be up to your budget.

We are so quick to find the negatives! If we only took the time, and looked for  positives… I promise you, the world, would be a much better place.

You create your world, you set the atmosphere, you are in control! Change the atmosphere, watch how things turn around.

Growing up I didn’t have all the fancy amendeties,  like we do today. I learned to be content, early on, and stuck with it. Though I am here in USA, and people do things differently here, I will always set my atmosphere right how I want it, because this is where I reside, and live.

You are in control of your thermostat! You too have power to change your atmosphere! Change it!
