STUDY THE WORD

Don’t just read the word, STUDY!

To study is to devote your time and attention, to acquiring knowledge, on a particular word, subject, or theme.

To study is to take notes, memorizing scriptures that are highlighted in your spirit, underlining  important concepts, meditating upon the WORD, thinking about it, researching differences/opinions, aligning with scripture, comparing, and contrasting to seek the truth!

When you study, you are to remove every old perception, idea, emotion, and be open to the new! Be open to what the Holy Spirit has in store for you.

Invite the Holy spirit to interpret, lead, instruct, direct your thoughts, in your studies. Seek for understanding, insight from above. Do not lean on your own understanding, but trust God. He is your source!

Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 AMP

Not just study, but apply knowledge to the situation, circumstance you are facing. Apply understanding to unanswered prayers, and questionable questions, apply insight into the Word of God, by patiently waiting on him, to show you the way.

To apply is to put it into practice, put in an application, like a winter coat, putting it on for warmth!

STUDY , STUDY , STUDY!

You want to be effective, influencial, empowering, then apply the word of God to your life, correct your imperfections on the spot, correct your actions, alter your behavior, pray for revelation, and walk in his wisdom, not yours! Then offer knowledge through your situation,  TESTIFY!

Live a life that is pleasing to him, so that others draw to him, because of you. Be a light in this cold, dark world.

Ignite souls with the gift that God placed on the inside of you. Do not envy others, because what God has for you, is better than you can ever imagine. Trust him!
