Ever since I was a little girl I used to love this scripture, and still do.

“Cleanse me with hyssop, make me whiter than snow” -Psalm 51:7

I would declare it, and not know the meaning, but it would mean so much to me. I would find such facination with it… to be cleansed, and to be whiter than snow? Today I’m still facinated with it, but in the different way.

And once again I hear it in my prayer closet. In that secret place, where God is preparing his bride, where God is cleansing his bride, he is removing imperfections, and perfecting us, for his GREATER PLAN, and HIS purposes.

God is cleaning his bride, at THIS HOUR in that secret place, at the alter, with the blood of the lamb, with hyssop, making us whiter than snow, GO into that secret place, and wash yourself away with the blood of the lamb.

Get into Alignment, get into position to receive. The rain of Blessing is about to pour down. The flood gates of heaven are about to POUR OPEN! You can align or dissalign it’s up to you. His plan is going forward!

Some of us, are in dissalignment, operating from wrong position, and place, not being able to work at OUR FULL POWER, and POTENTIAL.

DO not elevate yourself, allow God to elavate you, in his timing. We are so in a hurry, that we make mistakes, let us be more delligent and alert. Fire is not meant to hurt us, but refine us to the best of our abilities. Run to that secret place, and seek answers. He is the truth, the way, and the life.

Hallelujah!! Rain on us LORD!

  1. Let me first of all say thank you for following my blog. I appreciate the encouragement and support. I also appreciate your blog which is exquisite in its overall presentation and most insightful and inspiring in its context. How apropos is the name you have chosen. Indeed, your posts are most inspiring, igniting the fires burning deep within our souls.

As I read your post “Cleanse us Lord,” I thought of this poem that I trust you will also appreciate. Keep up the excellent work.

    Beyond Hyssop

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

    Psalm 51:7

Can any stalks of hyssop purify my leprous soul?
Can they daub with precious lamb’s blood the lintels of this house?
Where are the purgatives to cleanse and balms to me make whole
When the passions of my sinful flesh surface and arouse
My senses with flames rekindled from those carnal embers?
Can I be made clean once more, as I wrestle this body
Of death each day and seek to beat back my mortal members?
Though hyssop may flush my rancid soul of iniquity,
Beyond the strength of this remedy is life-giving blood
Of the Lord Jesus, ultimate, unblemished sacrifice
Sent from the bosom of the Father, who alone is good.
Such a costly prescription is far beyond any price.
Truly this balm in Gilead has healed my wounded soul,
Deeply cleansed me from within, and his blood has made whole.
