TIME MANAGEMENT

Managing your TIME successfully, while being productive at multitasking is the KEY to SUCCESS.

-Lena Joseph

Let’s talk about TIME MANAGEMENT, What is it, and how can I overcome this hurdle?

You can be a multitask-er, but unproductive at the same time. Successfully finishing one task at a time is the key to being PRODUCTIVE. And you want to be productive right?

According to the Webster Dictionary

“Time management is the ability to use one’s time effectively or productively, especially at work.

We all have 24 hours in our day, to accomplish the tasks we have set out for the day. No one gets more, or less, EVERYONE has the same amount of time. How you manage your TIME, is totally up to you. How much you sleep is totally up to you, how much time you set aside for entertainment, is also UP TO YOU, and this ONE is my FAVORITE, how much you spend with GOD, will be evident in your ACTIONS, and UP to YOU.

YOU MAKE A CHOICE FOR YOURSELF, THEN YOUR CHOICES WILL PREDICATE RESULTS. REMEMBER THAT CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES, GOD OR BAD, AND SOMETIMES THEY ARE NOT SO PRETTY…

The choices you are making, will reap the consequences, of your actions. Good choices- will propel you, to the next level of success. Bad choices- will stagnate your level of success, and growth.

As a mom, I got million things to do, drop off the kids, run my errands, clean the house, shop for groceries, prepare my kids clothes, fix them lunch, take them to the park, library time, homework time, quality time, movie time, entertainment, going out… the list is endless. Being a mom, especially one that has to work, can be quite a challenge, so how do I manage my time? How do I find the TIME to divide myself between ALL these activities??

You DON’T! You have to learn to say NO to the things that take up too much of your time, and YES to the more productive things in your schedule. You have to make a CHOICE!

  • THEN you make up a schedule for yourself, and STICK WITH IT

For example divide your time into intervals

  1. EIGHT hours or so of WORK- TOP priority, but do realize that other things may not be met.
  2. GYM- ONE hour tops, on Mondays, and Wednesdays, but remember this is a SACRIFICE of your time.
  3. Two hours of STUDY, to better myself? YES YES YES
  4. Fifteen minutes of PRAYER at least… TOP PRIORITY YES
  5. An hour of entertainment- OPTIONAL
  6. ONE hour or 2 at most, at the park
  7. Tuesdays: Grocery and Errands day
  8. One hour of homework, quality time – A MUST

Whatever you choose to feed, will be EVIDENT result of your growth.

Don’t just write it, but actually stick with it, be accountable to it, and consistent with it through PRAYER!

I WANT YOU TO MAKE THIS DECLARATION TO YOURSELF

NO EXCUSES, I’M TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR MYSELF. Rain or SHINE, my future depends on it!
